Sagalassos which has location and settlement features that astound people when they first see was an important settlement in Pisidia in ancient Greek. (The region today known as the region of lakes.) Settlement of the city , known as the "City of Love and Emperors", dates back to 8000 BC. Sagalassos, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2009, amazes those who see it with its structures.
Departing from Antalya at 10.00 in the morning, we arrive at İnsuyu Cave, which is one of the first caves in Turkey opened to tourism. After the cave visit, where we will see thousands of years old stalactites and stalagmites formed as a result of the melting and erosion of the karstic structure, we move to Burdur. Our lunch is Burdur's famous shish meatballs. After the meal, we arrive at the ancient city of Sagalassos at the end of an hour's journey. After visiting the ancient structures such as Theatre, Monumental Fountain, Hero's Tomb, Roman Bath and Marcellum, we turn back. On the road after taking a short photo break at the Karacaören Dam, which has a magnificent view, our tour ends in Antalya.
